Karim was my agent for a 1031 exchange on both the sell side and buy side. 1. Sell side. Karim did a walkthrough of my home before it was on the market and made suggestions on what needed to get done to be ready to sell. He handled everything from the painter to the cleaners to the staging crew. With a 1031 exchange, timing is critical and worked with the buyers agent to ensure I had extra time on the buy side by extending the time period after final contingency to closing. These small details are critical if you are doing a 1031 exchange. 2. Buy side. Karim shined as a negotiator on my behalf and saved me an additional 10k in a competitive real estate market.
